Since the news of the cancellation of KOTE 2017’s Milestones Edition,  we have been receiving some very heartwarming responses from our KOTE followers. Here’s a few:

“This is sad to hear. We always look forward to not only participating in KOTE, but going to all the events and performances throughout those two magical weeks. The Olympia Gallery will always support KOTE and I hope next year fares better. ”

“The cancellation of KOTE this year is such sad news. I’m a KOTE follower and fan but I laud your energy and creative ideas and look forward to KOTE 2018.”

“I am saddened by this news. However, it is absolutely understandable.I believe that with such a large venture, KOTE, like the Olympics (? sort of) there needs to be more time for the build up process and acquiring of financing for it.Perhaps under the same name, one could consider mini festivals/workshops/shows, (possibly to raise funds for the larger scale model)that would then culminate in the larger form that persons have come to know and love.I do hope that this email reaches the hands of the organizers and that my heartfelt thank you for all the years in promoting the arts under the mission statement of the transformative value of the Arts.Thank you again for the tremendous work that has been done and for sure we may possibly see KOTE 2018.”

“I am heartbroken – I am sure you are too, you have done tremendous work over the years … thought it was worth saying.”

“Wishing you and yours, a renewal and support for your so meaningful and valuable KOTE. As you know outside funding (challenging to get) can enable cultural programs. Best wishes for next year’s great program. Count me in for my presentation please.”
